My GS9 arrived early and with undocumented upgrades. It had a through-axle on the front foot instead of a quick-release, a full Shimano drivetrain with excellent trigger shifters, and real Shimano hydraulic brakes... when I've watched multiple videos of people showing off the fairly decent zoom or unbranded brakes that I guess were on them before. Since I'm an experienced cyclist and competent bike mechanic, I was able to do the truing of wheels and stuff that most folks wouldn't know how to do but assembled and tuned up this thing is an absolute fun explosion. It's the only thing I know in its price range that feels like a real e-mountain bike, at least on roads, bike paths, and modestly rough trails. Would not be jumping this thing at the bike park but definitely will be putting in a lot of time in the dirt and gravel trails around my area. I'd give it six stars if I could. Great job, Paselec! (Forgive my color coordinated touch points I'm in southern Florida, and no those are not real rock shox (yet) that's an inside joke)
Great investment here and bike rides smooth. With only winter as an exception I ride it everyday. Customer service is great as well.
Great bike for the price. All Shimano Altus components. Added 203 mm rotors and brackets, mirrors, holders, rear rack and bag with battery cool wrap. Will change 27.5 x 3.0 tires for Non folding later. Fast, smooth and 50 miles range with pedal assist and motor only climb.Happy with product. Genuine 750 watt motor with 18 ah battery. Buy one!
Arrived on time and was easy to assemble. The frame had a small chip and the seller refunded me $20 so I could repair it. I was a little sad as this is a brand new bike but the bike looks good and despite the small chip I am very pleased with it.I will be using this bike for a 300 mile cycle completed in 4 days along the Potomac River, Washington DC so the front and rear suspension will be much appreciated.
Ok..amazing bike for the price. I bought mine a little over a year ago and put 5500 miles on it..commuting 26 miles a day, running at the MAX Assist.Only issue I had out of the box was the rear tire kept getting a flat..took it to REI..they fixed it, it goes flat, repeat. The manufacturer sent me an entirely new rear wheel assembly (with the hub) no charge. The bike crusies at about 25mph (pedal assist level 5)but I have gotten to 37mph on downhill.Hydraulic brakes are awesome and easily bled and refilled (Saline)Shimano derailed and shifters work smoothly and suspension is good. Very comfortable ride with that mid shock and of course front shocks are variable and can be locked for road use.I ran this bike in heavy rain, commuted in the cold and heat..it kept going. Finally need to replace the battery as I killed it but again..with the Customer Service from the manufacturer and the bikenitself being kick azz..juts keep those flex joints lured, dry off and remove any dirt and much (do not hose down an ebike) with shams..and you can't go wrong..I'm ready to buy my second
